Alan's Wildlife Tours offers a range of eco friendly wildlife tours throughout the Cairns Highlands. Your Naturalist and Guide is Alan Gillanders, specialising in tree-kangaroos, birds and nocturnal mammals on the beautiful Cairns Highlands, North Queensland, Australia.

The sights, sounds and smells of the Australian rainforest and bush mean more to you as you develop an understanding of their importance.

Linking the sound to the animal you have just seen and its surroundings, you build a sensory map of your environment.

Explore the Village by taking the historic walk around Yungaburra. The heart of the village, established in 1890,has been listed by the National Trust of Queensland.

There are several excellent restaurants in which to dine - all within a few minutes walk from your accommodation. Peterson Creek is just a few minutes walk away - an easy place to see platypus. The walkway follows the creek to a delightful swimming place called Frawley's Pool.
