Worker

By Grand Barron Lodge

04 Nov 2017

I can't say how blessed we are to have a team of workers who go above and beyond what's expected of them to make a stay for our guests that's worthy of fairy tales. Our team are constantly affirmed in reviews for being impeccable hosts and for overflowing with generosity. We are an accomodation that goes against the culture of our industry, it is our moto to be generous and that why we will always have guests come back again and again.

Exciting announcement!

Golden stairs

By Grand Barron Lodge

31 Oct 2017

We are excited to announce the completion of our golden stair case down to the Barron river. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, we also built a bridge for your ease of passage to the highlight of our location. We are super grateful to the women who birthed our workers, and the fathers who helped raised them, for giving them capacity to build this master piece. It is perfectly suited to many of the other architectural feats you will discover here at the Grand Barron Lodge.

Such a lovely, cosy and peaceful place to stay. We were made to feel so relaxed and welcomed. A must stay if you are spending time in the Far North.

What an amazing experience my partner and I had staying in this remarkable property. Steve, our host, couldn't have been nicer or any more accommodating, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, until we departed. The property itself is amazing - so relaxing and tranquil, with a breathtaking view of the Barron River. Words truly can't do the property justice, and the only way to experience it is to visit yourself. Guests have the ability to go swimming in the river whilst on the property (and Frankie, the beautiful Labrador, will more than willingly join you given half a chance!) Canoeing, fishing, etc. are all also possible, and with Kuranda only a short drive away, guest can be as busy or lazy as they choose with their choice of activities. And the property itself is ideal for either the romantic weekend away with your loved one, or as a family break with the kids (and there is PLENTY to keep them occupied). Thank you Steve for having us as your guests, and making us feel so welcome in your home. We'll be back soon, but with kids, friends, and pets with us next time so that we can share what an amazing place you have with others.
